Rain, rain, rain!
We’re behind the curve on our rainfall needs so far this year in the Fairfax, Virginia area. Today, it’s raining lightly, and just enough to make the leaves appear a bit greener. Most plants are in full glorious bloom due to the early Spring, the pollen counts are high, and the bees and butterflies are in heavenly bliss. Yet the rain has doused the floating pollen spores for us humans. Those of us with allergies are breathing better today.
